Rules & Policies

We want every guest to have a safe, enjoyable experience. Please review the following before your visit.

Fishing Rules

Self-guided fishing is welcome — fish the private lake at your own pace.
Guided trips are available; when fishing with a guide, follow their instructions.
You're free to keep your catch within the harvest limits below.
Bass: 8 per person / day (Under 14 inches)
Crappie: Unlimited
Bream: Catch & release only
Catfish: Unlimited
Harvest limits are per person, per day.
Handle fish carefully, whether you're keeping or releasing them.

Hunting & Firearm Safety

No hunting or firearms unless part of a booked hunting experience.
During a booked hunt, follow all safety directions from your guide at all times.
Treat every firearm as if it is loaded, and only point it in a safe direction.
Be sure of your target and what is beyond it before taking any shot.
Species and trophy availability vary; hunts are arranged in advance.

Property Rules

Summerfield is a private wildlife preserve — stay within designated areas.
No unauthorized guests beyond those in your booking.
Keep the property clean — pack out what you pack in.
Quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM out of courtesy for other guests.
No reckless behavior, including reckless driving on property roads.

Boat & Equipment Rules

Boats and equipment are provided and must be used responsibly.
Life jackets must be worn on all boats.
Report any damage to equipment immediately.
Guests may be held responsible for damage caused by negligence.
The entire lake is a no-wake zone — idle speed only, in all areas.

Lodging & Guest Rules

Guest counts should match your booking; let us know about any changes in advance.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Please treat the accommodations and common areas with care.
Observe quiet hours out of courtesy for other guests.

Booking & Cancellation

All bookings are inquiry-based and must be confirmed by Summerfield Outdoors.
A deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Deposits are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel, your deposit can be applied to a rebooked trip.

Liability Waiver

All guests will be required to sign a liability waiver before participating in any activities at Summerfield Outdoors. Outdoor activities carry inherent risks. By visiting the property, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
